On the above date, the Triman Triathlon event will require full closure of Horseshoe Bend Road from 6am to 12pm. Therefore our Route 73 - Torquay to Wombah Park service will be required to deviate.

As shown in blue on the map below the Route 73 - Torquay to Wombah Park service will need to travel via Fischer Ave, Inshore Dve, Quay Blvd, Horseshoe Bend Rd, Norfolk Ave, Bass Ave, The Sands Blvd, Pacific Dr, Horseshoe Bend Rd, Quay Blvd, Inshore Dve, Fischer Ave then continue the normal route to Torquay. Unfortunately it is not possible for us to service stops on The Esplanade, Horseshoe Bend Rd or Lochard Drive between 6am and 12pm.

Because of the expected increased traffic in the area, this service may run late. So if you are using this bus to connect with the Route 74 - Geelong to Jan Juc via Torquay service, please let the driver know so a connection on Surf Coast Hwy can be made.

The Triman involves a 1.9km swim, 91.1km cycle, and a 21.1km run. Many spectators are expected at this event, so why not catch the bus so you don't have to worry about parking issues. More information about this event is available at the official Triman Triathlon web site.
