Communication Notice Check List

This checklist has been put together to assist with communicating to employees. It provides useful prompts when sending notices to employees.

Shift numbering

The shifts have been numbered in a way to make it easier for everyone. Depending on the shifts start time, depot it is from and the type of shift has determined its shift number.

• They are also numbered in sign on order

• They are numbered in sign on order unless changes have been made

• All even shifts start after 12pm

• Shifts from Breakwater are numbered in the 1000's

• Shifts from Portarlington are numbered in the 2000's

• Shifts from Queenscliff are numbered in the 3000's

• Shifts from Ocean Grove are numbered in the 4000's

• Shifts from Torquay are numbered in the 5000's

• The stage 2 Lorne shift is numbered 7001

• The Winchelsea shift is numbered 7601

• The Anakie shift is numbered 7611

• The Stonehaven shift is numbered 7621

School Days:

• Full time school day shifts are numbered in the 200's

• Casual school day shifts are numbered in the 300's

School Holidays:

• Full time school day shifts are numbered in the 400's

• Casual school day shifts are numbered in the 500's
