Ticket Validation

Passengers, on payment of the appropriate fare, are issued with a ticket that is valid for a minimum of 2 and maximum of 3 hours travel. This means that the ticket is valid until the next hour plus 2 hours and is valid for use on any bus operating in the Geelong Transit Network.

For example, a passenger could catch a bus from Grovedale at 9:05 a.m. and be issued with a ticket valid until 12:00 noon. They would then catch a bus back to Grovedale at 11:30 a.m. having done their Shopping and be home for lunch, all for the cost of one minimal fare.

Tickets are not transferable.
A valid ticket must be produced on demand, if not a new fare is payable.
