Working As a Bus
Driver
Employment as a Bus Driver is a
rewarding experience where you can immediately see the benefit you are
providing to a wide range of people in the community. To be competent, bus
driving requires both outstanding driving and customer service skills. Our
drivers are engaged on either a full time basis or doing regular casual work driving school
runs.
Driver Requirements
To be eligible for employment, you require
1. A medium rigid (or greater) heavy vehicle licence
classification
2. Driver's Accreditation
All Drivers require a Driver's
Accreditation from the Victorian Taxi Directorate. This accreditation is also
known as a ‘Driver’s Certificate’ and enables a driver to commercially carry
passengers.

3. Working with Children Check
A new requirement of the State Government
is a mandatory ‘Working With Children Check’ designed
to help keep children under 18 years of age from harm. Due to the nature of our
work, all employees are required to undertake this check.
